Our cottage welcomes you on the heights of La Bresse, in a quiet environment, but still close to the shops, restaurants and cafes of the village. It has a balcony-terrace, exposed to the south-east, with an impregnable view on the forests and peaks of the Vosges. Hiking trails are right at the foot of the chalet and La Bresse-Hohneck, the largest ski resort of the Vosges, is just a 10-minute drive away.

I am a Dutch/French national living in Amsterdam with my family. I'm passionate about travelling and never have enough discovering new cities and countries with my little tribe, if possible out of the beaten tracks! I fell in love with the Vosges authentic and preserved nature in one of these trips, some years ago, and decided to make it my retreat when I need to recharge my body and soul! Sebastian, who lives in La Bresse, will welcome you at the chalet. He is full of invaluable knowledge about the surroundings and available activities. The neighborhood is very quiet with a unique view over the Vologne valley. Nearby footpaths and hiking trails. You can easily walk down to the village of La Bresse with its bakeries, cafes and restaurants, swimming-pool, and Sunday market. Beware of the way back up with almost 100m elevation gain! The chalet is 10 minutes driving distance from the ski slopes and 15 minutes away from Gerardmer, the famous lakeside resort. Do not miss the Vosges Mountains ridge road with a breathtaking panorama, by car, motorbike, or by bike for the sporty ones
