## The neighborhood Lyon is famous for its restaurants: its iconic Lyonnaise bouchons and many Michelin-starred fine dining spots. You'll also find numerous barges on the Rhône offering interesting menus with pleasant dining settings. In the heart of the city with its typical Lyonnais buildings, the grand Place des Jacobins, the famous Place Bellecour, and my personal favorite in the summer, the Quais de Saône. It's a lovely spot to relax on warm evenings with views of the medieval district of Vieux Lyon and the Basilica of Fourvière. My favorite spots: There are many! Best bakeries/desserts: Le Pain des Jacobins, delicious and just nearby Boulangerie du Palais, famous for its praline desserts Pralus: the famous praline brioche, highly recommended!
