The mill is a fully equipped three story house which can sleep up to 9 people. There is a ground floor kitchen/dining area, (nice and cool in summer and a wood burning stove for the cooler months). Stairs leading up to the first floor to a large salon for relaxing and playing games en famille, a double bedroom and a shower room with WC. On the second floor there is a large double bedroom with ensuite WC and shower room. There is also a separate family suite which comprises of 2 adjoining bedrooms with a total of 5 single beds, with an ensuite bathroom with WC. The mill is a fully no smoking area, there is no television, limited wifi and phone signal, so if you're looking for a place to really disconnect, this is the place for you. Rediscover the importance of being present and together.

Our family has been living here at le Moulin Vieux since 2006 and now we would love to share this very special place with you. So very peaceful, just the sound of birds, insects, the river and occasionally our 2 donkeys to enjoy. Disconnect from the world and get back to what is important, getting outside breathing in the clean fresh air and spending quality time with loved ones.

With 45 acres of garden and forest to explore, where pesticides and herbicides have not been used for decades, the biodiversity here is fantastic. Dozens of different species of butterflies including swallowtails, purple emperors, blues, skippers, coppers, hairstreaks, and at least 8 different fritillaries. There are dragonflies and damselflies a plenty So many birds, our favourites being the 5 different species of woodpecker, golden orioles, kingfishers, various birds of prey, and if you're lucky the lone black stork passing overhead. Perfect for a digital detox if that's what you're looking for. There is a cupboard full of games, books and puzzles for all ages, table football inside and a badminton court in the garden along with a slide and swings for the kids. This is the place to unwind and relax, with many walking and cycling tracks around, a sky full of stars (weather permitting), and a wake board lake just 10 mins away for the more adventurous. There are several local markets to visit throughout the week along with many other local attractions within easy reach.
