Our gîte "Le Cémarose" is located in a residential area of the town of Epernay, just a few minutes' walk from the town centre, all the shops and the Avenue de Champagne. A few ideas for activities on site and in the surrounding area: Go for a walk on the footpath located a few minutes above the gîte. You can enjoy a panoramic view of the town of Épernay and the Champagne vineyards. Visit a major champagne house and its miles of cellars. The area boasts a number of fine Champagne houses, including Leclerc Briant, which is close to the gîte. Discover the beautiful Musée du Vin de Champagne and Musée d'Archéologie Régionale d'Epernay. Take a stroll along the Avenue de Champagne and enjoy a tasting session, or meet the winemakers on the Champagne tourist trail. Climb Mount Bernon for an exceptional view of Epernay and the vineyards. Take to the skies in a tethered balloon. Join the "voie verte" for a bike ride along the canal (20 minutes from the gîte by bike). Discover the Montagne de Reims Regional Nature Park.
