Your hosts, husband and wife, Stephen and Susan share their passion for travel, food and discovery. Susan is nearly fluent in French, having studied at both the Sorbonne and the University of Strasbourg, and is an interior designer as well as accomplished baker. Stephen shares his 25 years of experience in the wine industry and culinary passion as a former chef. Both are excited to share their appreciation of Sarlat and the surrounding area to ensure you obtain the most out of your stay.

Located in the historical center of enchanting Sarlat la-Caneda, this 1870's stone-carved mansion is an upscale destination for a luxurious, comfortable and tranquil stay with a warm, personal touch. We serve a continental breakfast with locally-sourced ingredients in our elegant dining room overlooking Le Petite Rigaudie garden and are ideally situated to enjoy everything Sarlat has to offer, starting with the gourmet farmers' markets, just steps away, every Wednesday morning and all day Saturday. Almost everything in the property is original, including the many marble fireplaces, the hardwood floors, the 12-foot ceilings, the louvered shutters, as well as doors.
