Welcome to our spacious and lovingly designed "Villa Sebode" (check our homepage too) in Corsica – a true retreat for families and friends who seek nature, tranquillity, and quality time together. Here you’ll find the perfect mix of relaxation and activity: a large private pool (heated on request), three sunny terraces with sea and mountain views, a large garden, children’s amenities, and a basketball hoop for the little ones – all just a 10-minute walk from the family-friendly sandy beach Plage de l’Arinella. The house accommodates 8 adults and 2 children (in a cosy bunk bed) and is perfectly equipped for relaxed family holidays: all four bedrooms have air conditioning, the kitchen is fully equipped, there’s Wifi-7, a washing machine, and, on request, a baby cot and highchair. Spread over two separate floors, it’s ideal for two families to enjoy plenty of space. In the immediate surroundings, you’ll find numerous swimming spots to suit every taste – from fine or coarse sand to rocky areas and secluded coves. All are only 10–15 minutes away by car and offer perfect conditions for swimming, playing, or snorkelling. If you’re in the mood for refreshing mountain pools, the Fango Valley is within easy reach (approx. 35 minutes). There’s also a wide choice of hiking and cycling routes, from easy family trails to the more challenging GR20, for those who want a break from beach life. Food lovers will also be spoilt for choice: in nearby towns, villages, and along the beaches you’ll find a variety of restaurants – from simple Corsican fare to fine dining – to suit every palate. The local infrastructure leaves nothing to be desired: supermarkets, weekly markets, an organic bakery, cafés, and medical services are all within easy reach. The charming mountain villages of the Balagne and the Mediterranean fishing towns of Calvi and L’Île-Rousse are perfect for short excursions.

Our holiday home is located in the picturesque Calvi region, just minutes from the turquoise sea and golden beaches. The charming old town, with its impressive citadel, invites you to stroll through narrow streets and enjoy a coffee by the harbour. In the area, you will find excellent restaurants serving Corsican specialities such as fresh fish, wild boar stew, and the famous Brocciu cheese. We recommend the eateries along the harbour promenade as well as small, family-run bistros in nearby Lumio. Nature lovers can explore stunning hiking trails – from coastal paths with sea views to the mountains of the Balagne. Water sports enthusiasts can go snorkelling, diving, or take boat trips to hidden coves. A day trip to the hilltop villages of the Balagne or the Scandola Nature Reserve (a UNESCO World Heritage site) is an absolute highlight.
