Twine Cottage, is a picturesque 17th century Grade II listed Cotswolds thatched holiday cottage which oozes charm. It is situated in a quiet position, yet within a couple of minutes walking distance to the historic high street of Chipping Campden. It has it's own enclosed garden with table and chairs in the front of the house which leads onto a small footpath. There is free parking outside the house too. The village has many cafes and pubs and is a great place to visit all the year round
I never get tired of walking down Chipping Campden high street as the buildings are so beautiful and every one is very different in its structure. It is blessed with some great cafes and pubs which offer good coffee and delicious teas. It has been voted one of the prettiest villages in England - the jewel of the Cotswolds.
Summer is gorgeous with all the lovely gardens- the NGS Open Gardens held in June is always a great event.
Christmas time is especially lovely with Chipping Campden's Christmas market - - some wonderful shops to do Christmas shopping and then relax in a lovely pub or cafe in front of the log fire. The whole high street is lit with Christmas lights and there is a very festive atmosphere.
The nearest train station is Moreton in Marsh ( 20 mins by taxi / 30 mins by bus) and there are regular buses from Chipping Campden to all the nearest villages and attractions. Cars can be rented locally and from London or Oxford. Oxfordshire, Worcestershire and Warwickshire are all within easy reach by car
