Welcome to Pomegranate and the Forest of Dean. Set in the heart of Coleford both Pomegranate Holiday apartments are set within easy reach of local amenities, cinema, country pubs and popular local restaurants. During your stay you can visit the nearby delights of the ancient woodlands and Puzzlewood, maybe view the pre-roman open cast mines with rock ravines, secret doorways and underground passages. Puzzlewood is regularly used as a filming location with many iconic TV and Film moments filmed from this site including Harry Potter Game of Thrones, Star Wars, Robin Hood and Dr Who. The forest is renowned for its beautiful walking routes and cycling paths however there is much much more to the Forest of Dean. Mallards Pike is a wonderful lake area and you can hire segways to add to the experience. For the brave at heart we have Go Ape where you can whizz around the tree tops or hire a bike at Peddle-a-way. Clearwell Castle is nearby and is one of the foremost venues in the country for wedding events. Also Clearwell Caves, Goodrich & Newent (famous for its onion fare) are nearby and Cheltenham, Cardiff or Bristol are only 40 minutes away by car.
Originally from London, Lucy & Tony moved to the forest 12 years ago and never looked back. Their aim is to produce a boutique experience for visitors which is warm and inviting. The Pomegranate Boutique is nearby and the staff are always available to offer advice or friendly tips about the area.
