Housekeepers Cottage is nestled in the valley of the Shilstone estate in the heart of the Devon countryside. With stunning views of the unspoiled surrounding countryside in easy reach of the spectacular South Devon Beaches, the South West Coast Path and Dartmoor.
Housekeepers Cottage is totally unique in its rurality. Positioned on an ancient farm holding, you can enjoy complete serenity, however, remain within fantastic proximity to local Towns and Villages with various amenities. The Market Town of Modbury is around a 5 minute drive away, and Totnes, 15 minutes. Dartmoor National Park and the stunning South Devon Coast are equidistant, again, just a 10 to 20 minute drive away. You may prefer, however, to hide the car keys and simply enjoy the wealth of footpaths that surround Housekeepers Cottage and wind their way through the Devon countryside.
The ancient farm holding in which Housekeepers Cottage is positioned is also home to other small outbuildings/barns/cottage, some of which are being restored to preserve their heritage.
Due to Housekeepers Cottage's fabulously rural location, getting around is best achieved by car. There is free parking outside for up to 3 cars.
