We always give an extra discount on direct bookings or allow free pet stays for well behaved pets. I live 5 minutes away and can be contacted by phone or text message during your stay. You can choose access via a lock box key or be met on arrival.

Penelope Jane Property (pj-property) presents Charming Cheadle (FB Charming accommodation Alton Towers) - a comfortable and well presented 2 bedroom terraced cottage in a peaceful location with an outside seating area, on-street parking and unlimited 4gee wifi. The property is ideal for couples and small families visiting Alton Towers Resort (6m away - or about 20 minutes), Uttoxeter Race Course, the beautiful Peak District, pretty local market towns of Leek (12m), Uttoxeter (10m), Stone (8m), or the county town of Stafford and the city of Stoke on Trent. The property is within easy walking distance to Cheadle town centre for shops, pubs, and the renowned Pugin's Gem Church. There is a bus and taxi service in Cheadle, and the nearest main line railway station is at Stoke. We welcome business and longer stays at discounted rates, and can take pets by agreement. You can be met by your host Penny, though most guests prefer contactless entry using the key safe box outside. Parking is unrestricted on the road outside, and then a short walk down the driveway to the house. It is possible to bring a car to the door for unpacking, but you risk getting blocked in by neighbours.

Set in a quiet residential area within walking distance of the small town centre. The town centre has supermarkets, shops and independent businesses, pubs (Wetherspoon and Hungary Horse chains and The Huntsman are within walking distance) and coffee shops. For those willing to travel a couple of miles further, excellent food including vegan and fish dishes can be found at the Royal Oak at Dilhorne, the Queens at Freeway, the Red Lion at Boundary, and The Denstone Farm Shop (which also sells nice homewares). Local attractions include Pugin's Gem Church is renowned for it's gothic splendour, Dimingsdale for it's river and forestry trails and of course Alton Towers Theme Park and the Peak District. Most visitors will arrive and travel by car, though a limited bus service is available from Cheadle High Street to Alton Towers, Uttoxeter, Hanley, Stafford and Leek.
