Delfryn ideally situated between St. David's, (which is the smallest city in the U.K. with cathedral, bishop's palace and quaint stone cottages) and Solva. An area of outstanding natural beauty. The property is on bus routes and the Pembrokeshire Coast Path can be accessed by a 5-10 minute walk. The Guest Suite is annexed to the main house and has a balcony overlooking the garden, converted historic stone farm buildings and the courtyard they surround, with views in the distance of St. Brides Bay. The accommodation is on two floors with a narrow spiral staircase linking the two levels. Downstairs is the living space and shower room and upstairs is the large bedroom, with king size bed and roof terrace furnished with table and chairs. There is another staircase leading from the balcony to the garden, handy for carrying suitcases. There are two flat screen televisions one upstairs one down. The suite has been decorated creatively and comfortably. Breakfast can be taken either in the living space or on the balcony terrace. Fleecy throws are provided for sitting outside at night to gaze at the stars as there is little light pollution in the area.
Rosemary is passionate about providing a clean, comfortable space, together with good food and friendly, helpful hospitality to try and insure guests enjoy a memorable break away. ONE OF MY REVIEWS FROM 2021 "We could only start this with a massive thank you. What an amazing little piece of paradise you have created here! Nothing was too much, not a single ask was not met with a smile and a yes. We felt welcome and at home and we cannot wait to come again in the future. The breakfast is phenomenal and in great variety, comes warm in the morning perfect to enjoy in the balcony on a nice sunny day. All the love, Kalli and Adam"
The Pembrokeshire National Park is an area of outstanding natural beauty with blue flag beaches, popular with swimmers, surfers, paddle boarders, sailors and canoeists. The 186 mile coastal path with its stunning scenery, wildlife and wild flowers can be accessed by a 10 minute walk from the property. Delfryn is a mile and a half to Solva and St. David's, both premier locations of Pembrokeshire. Solva with it's small natural harbour, quaint cottages and boats. St. David's with it's beautiful medieval bishops palace and cathedral. Both places with a selection of cafes restaurants, pubs, galleries and shops. There are many boat trips to and around the islands to see the puffins, dolphins etc. Pembrokeshire is steeped in history with many castles and ancient monuments to explore.
