we are situated between Knaresborough ( market town with castle, and riverside walks, and mother shiptons caves ) and Boroughbridge a old coaching stop on the great north rd, has roman links and the devils arrows ) close to j48 on the A1 Harrogate is approx 20 mins drive as is the City of Ripon,( cathedral, race course, and interesting museums )
York is approx 30mins drive with its roman links, railway museum, cliffords tower and the shambles
