While our friendly team at Laik won't be present physically for your check-in, we operate a seamless self check-in process to give you privacy and convenience. The open-plan living space is designed for laid-back mornings and slow evenings. A fully equipped kitchen includes oven and hob, toaster, microwave and hot tub-safe glassware, while the dining area comfortably seats your whole group. The living area completes the space with an electric fire, TV, and board games for cosy nights in. There are three thoughtfully designed bedrooms, each with either a king or double bed (double has a couple of steps up to the bed) and its own en-suite shower room, giving everyone a little extra privacy and space to relax. Soft bed linen and towels are provided, so you can settle in straight away. Step outside and you’ll find a mix of peaceful spots to unwind. The private front patio features a 4-person hot tub and comfortable seating, ideal for enjoying the fresh air in any season. At the back, the enclosed garden room offers another little escape, with a sofa, soft lighting, and a log burner (logs not included, but easy to pick up locally). It’s the perfect place to curl up with a book or enjoy a quiet moment, whatever the weather’s doing. Best of all, Ferry View is just a short stroll from the heart of Bowness, with its independent shops, cafés, pubs and restaurants, not to mention the shores of Lake Windermere just down the hill. Whether you’re planning days out on the water or evenings tucked up by the fire, Ferry View Cottage offers the perfect mix of location, comfort and Lakeland charm.
