The Postage Stamp, a brand new family run 30 square meter log cabin with 100% private garden and parking. Situated on the A40, where due to its close proximity there is some road noise even during the night, please consider this before booking if you feel it may be an issue. Set in the Wye Valley with Goodrich Castle 1.7 miles, Ross-on-Wye 3 miles and 7.5 miles to Monmouth. Also easy access to Forest of Dean for woodland walks\bike rides. Also within an hour of Cardiff. See photos for details.
The Cabin is located in a private section of the grounds with the main house nearby, both Steve and Clare will be contactable anytime when not at home, and never very far away.
Diner facilities just across the road for a full cooked breakfast. 3 miles to the Old Court Hotel, Symonds Yat Leisure Park, Butterfly Zoo, Maze and excellent locally run cafe. Goodrich Castle, a heritage site is within 1.7 miles of the property. Extensive take-aways in Ross-on-Wye, some who offer delivery. Home cooked meals available on arrival please ask hosts. Canoe Hire, Mountain Biking and Rock Climbing within easy access.
Best access is via road. You can join the Wye Valley Walk at Chepstow or Ross-on-Wye, it is a 136 mile walk, crossing the England Wales Border. Railway stations nearby in Hereford and Ledbury. Easy road links to the Forest of Dean, South Wales and the Midlands.
