Tom and I were so excited to renovate the holiday cottages and open the doors to let guests come and experience this special part of Yorkshire. The views from Givendale really are beautiful and every morning when you open the curtains, there is always a spectacle of nature to ; be it the starling murmurations, running hares, playful lambs, deer, birds of prey. The walks around the property offer everything from river, woodland, lake and open fields and the stunning grounds of Newby Hall. There is so much to see and do nearby with Harrogate, Ripon, Masham and the Dales all within easy reach and some wonderful pubs and restaurants, which we have really enjoyed sharing with our guests. As a family of six we have loved adding to the guest experience with our incubated chicks about to start laying eggs as well as other fresh produce from the orchard and local produce which we will be offering guests this year.
