Only a few minutes’ walk from the SEC campus, the 4-star Crowne Plaza Glasgow overlooks the River Clyde. It has a leisure club with a pool and spa, as well as a maritime-inspired restaurant and bar. Glasgow Science Centre and BBC Scotland are both just a short walk across the river over the bridge from the Crowne Plaza. The city centre is about 1 mile away, and the Exhibition Centre Rail Station is 0.4 miles’ walk. Each bedroom has air-conditioning and a cable TV with pay-per-view movies. Some rooms have a seating area, whilst all have 24-hour room service and city or river views. The Club has a sauna, gym and steam room, with a range of relaxing spa treatments on offer in the Riverside Beauty . The hotel’s Mariner restaurant serves a creative menu of seasonal Scottish cuisine with views of the river. The relaxed Mariner Bar stocks a range of whiskies. Please note: The hotel is located outside the Low Emission Zone (LEZ).
