Located in Malton, North Yorkshire. The house is an ideal base to explore the local sites and attractions of Ryedale and North Yorkshire. Within 35 mins of York, the coast & the Yorkshire Moors there's plenty to see and do. For the more adventurous, there's Flamingo Land Theme park and Zoo within 20 mins.
Not to missed is the excellent Eden Camp, just 1.5 miles away to the north of the town.
Malton itself is Yorkshire's food capital with excellent farmer's food markets & well attended festivals.
Special features of the house include a large conservatory & Movie/Games Room with Xbox and Blu-ray player, with a selection of games and movies.
The rear bedroom features a King Size bed and wardrobe.
The front bedroom features two single beds that can be joined to make a large king sized bed. The default set up is two singles, please let us know at the time of booking if require the king size. This room can also accommodate an extra guest with an optional fold out bed. A travel cot is also available on request. There is also a wardrobe.
The host is normally within a mile or so of the property in case there are any problems.
The local neighborhood is mostly families on a 1940/50s built estate. On the opposite corner to the house is a very well stocked shop and highly recommended fish and chip shop. The rear the property is surrounded by a high hedge. The town centre is a 10 minute walk away and has a variety of small independent shops and national chains with some excellent restaurants. Supermarkets:- Morrisons, Lidl, Asda and Sainsbury's. The amazing Eden camp is on the outskirts of town and well worth a visit. Head down to Old Malton about half a mile away for an old village feel, then head for the river for a picturesque stroll. There is a field almost opposite to let the kids have a run around and close by is a well equipped play park at Rainbow Lane. The road passing the property is within a 20 MPH zone.
The town centre is within a 10 minute walk. Buses and trains are available with connection to the coast, York and Leeds.
Located between York and the coast linked by a main road, with a road heading north to the Pickering (home of the North Yorkshire moors Railway), the North Yorkshire Moors and Whitby.
