Escape to the Lake District Mountains, a unique, tranquil getaway at the foot of Helvellyn, 2km above Ullswater, up towards Striding Edge. Mountains tower above the hut, watching over our guests these Birkhouse Moor and Sheffield Pike with views of the Angle Tarn Pikes & High Street. ,Situated on the side of the Glenridding Beck, which is perfect for morning dip. The beck can be heard both outside and in, & relaxing and therapeutic for mind, body and soul.
Single/double duvets on offer for a small charge for duvets on request, Sheets and pillow/pillowcases provided, and towels too. open Doorway into kitchen space and further open doorway into toilet area. Double glazed french doors, lead onto decking area for amazing mountain & river view. Fully insulated ceiling for a cosy space. Outside table / chairs / fire pit for your use. Open access land allows access to the Glenridding Beck for your dip. PLEASE NOTE the shower is an outdoor shower. use only our natural products.

The area is very remote, although there are 2 lovely supermarket shops in the village, 1.5km down our track, in Glenridding. The village sits on the shores of Ullswater, so beautiful Steamer trips available up and down the lake. Lots to explore if you like a quiet place. 2 cafes, and 4 bars which all serve great food in the village.
