The garden is a delightful space to relax in peace, taking in the views of the surrounding countryside and wild life. This is also where you’ll find the luxurious covered hot tub which is open on one side to the garden so you’ve all the privacy you need. The ideal place to enjoy an indulgent soak in the hot water with a glass of bubbles. You and your loved one can relax here with a drink as the sun begins to set and the stars come out at night.
Enter Hoglet Cottage and you will be lead into a spacious and delightful open plan living area with a patio door leading to a private cottage garden courtyard with hot tub. Guests can relax in front of the glorious wood burning stove which will keep you warm and cosy even on the coldest nights.
Hoglet is conveniently located near the enchanting Lake District and the iconic Hadrian's Wall, just a short distance from Carlisle. Whether you're a hiker, biker or driver, the area offers captivating trails, roads and paths that showcase breathtaking vistas. The Scottish Borders are just a stone throw away.
After a fulfilling day of exploration or simply unwinding at the cottage, there's no shortage of dining options nearby. The village of Dalston boasts two charming pubs, the Blue Bell Inn and the Bridge Edge Inn, both highly praised and worth a visit. Hoglet Cottage is about 1½ miles from the village Dalston where the river Caldew passes through on its way from the Lakeland fells. The Cumbrian Way (a long distance footpath) and the Reivers Cycle Route pass through Dalston. Dandelion Cottage is 3 minutes drive from the M6.
