The property is a characterful stone cottage in the heart of Marple Bridge, a vibrant and picturesque village. Perfectly located, close to lots of independent shops, cafes, bakery, deli, restaurants and foodie pubs. A post office/convenience store, pharmacy, hair salons, beauticians and much more in the village. A train station with direct services to Manchester City Centre and on the other line through to Sheffield. Alongside the vast area within Brabyns Park and many footpaths to explore. The whole property is for the exclusive use of guests along with a private patio to the rear. Private parking is available for one car on site. Further parking in the village allows 1 hour parking during the daytime (subject to availability), with a couple of free (and paid) car parks a very short walking distance (opposite the entrance to Brabyns Park).

The River Goyt runs at the back of the property and all through Marple Bridge. Just up the road towards the next village Marple are lovely canal walks. The Roman Lakes, with its archelogical site is also accessible through a number of short walks / paths. The National Trust Lyme Park is a 20 minute drive away and slightly further are you are in the Peak District, with a number of places to visit including Chatsworth House, Castleton, Buxton Spa Town, Bakewell and Kinder Scout. The property is a two bedroom stone cottage which is split over three floors, it has been refurbished to a high standard, while retaining its character. Sleeps up to 4 people, in two good size bedrooms, one with a double bed, the second twin beds. The main bathroom has a toilet, sink, bath and a shower, downstairs there is a separate toilet and sink. Separate large lounge area, with sofa and chairs, wood burning stove and workspace. The kitchen / diner has all the equipment you need, a dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, dining table and chairs. The kitchen / dining area has French doors leading out to the private patio area. Separate utility room with iron and ironing board.
