Set in the quiet hamlet of Demelza, this shepherd's hut has underfloor heating, bathroom, double bed, TV and wifi. The kitchenette is fully equipped and includes a fridge, combi-microwave and induction hob. There is also a dining area and a small terrace. In the garden area is a bistro table and chairs, and a barbecue. There is also use of our Lay-Z-Spa hot tub, available from May to September.
The hut is the perfect spot to admire the view and watch the sunset with a glass or two, and to star-gaze on a clear night.
Please note, access to the hut is shared with the owners of the property. Dogs are on site and will want to visit you.
Toiletries and linen is provided. Please bring extra towels for the hot tub.
We're on-site to help, but leave you to enjoy your holiday.
If you've forgotten something, then we probably have something we can loan you.
On request, you may be able to feed the chickens and collect eggs in the morning. Some home produce is available to purchase.
The hut is located in the grounds of Demelza Cottage.
The neighbourhood is peaceful and accessed by single-track lanes with passing places. There are often horses on the lanes and the sound of animals in neighbouring fields.
All the favourite Cornwall attractions are within easy reach from the accommodation, as we are in a central location, so you can have a great day doing the touristy bit, visiting the beach, etc, but come home to the peace and quiet in the evening.
Our nearest town is Roche (approx 2 miles) where there is a pub, takeaways, pasty shop, a supermarket and chemist. Within 20 mins - Padstow, Newquay, Eden Project, Lost Gardens of Heligan, Mevagissey, St Austell, Bodmin Jail, Wadebridge.
There are nearly 200 beaches to choose from in Cornwall. Our nearest on the north coast are: Watergate Bay, Mawgan Porth, Harlyn, Mother Ivey's Bay, Daymer Bay, Fistral.
On the south coast: Par, Charlestown, Porthpean
