Ivy Cottage is a beautiful, fully refurbished self catering holiday gem just a 5 minute walk to the bustling centre of Bourton on the Water. On arrival guests will receive a complimentary Welcome Hamper and direct bookings at Cotswold Cottage Gems save 10%. On the ground floor the cottage boasts a large dining conservatory over looking the pretty country garden. The garden is completely enclosed with outdoor seating area and BBQ along with herbaceous borders and lawn area. Downstairs there is also a fully stocked kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, integrated oven and Nespresso coffee machine. A perfect space for cooking, entertaining and hosting. Through the hallway which showcases the original Cotswold stone walls there is a cosy sitting room with working log burner leading onto a snug/play room. A quiet spot to escape and enjoy a good book or catch up on Netflix. On the first floor there is a large king size room with built in wardrobes opposite a luxurious bathroom with a shower over the bath. On this floor there is a second family bathroom with huge walk in shower and views over the garden. On the second floor there are a further two bedrooms. The light and airy back bedroom has a king size bed while the front bedroom accommodates twin beds with original exposed stone walls and built in storage. The cottage is pet friendly and we also supply a standard sized travel cot, high chair and games for little visitors. Please note we do not provide any baby linen so bring your preferred bedding with you. We provide crisp white linen, boutique toiletries and soft, fluffy towels. There is off road parking for 2 cars.

Bourton on the Water, more commonly known “The Venice of the Cotswolds’ is a charming village situated at the centre of this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The town boasts an array of gift shops, restaurants and attractions. There really is something to suit all of the family from homemade cream teas in The Chestnut Tree to Sunday morning walks along the River Windrush which meanders serenely through the centre of the village.
