The recently refurbished rooms are individually decorated, and offer tea and coffee facilities, TV, WIFI and a modern bathroom with toiletries. Upon arrival, please make your way to The Waterhead Inn where check-in is located. Traditional Full English breakfasts alongside continental options are served daily at the The Waterhead Inn which is located across the road from The Lakehouse rooms. The Waterhead Inn also serves lunch and evening dining options if required. Please note The Lakehouse is across the road from The Waterhead Inn and this is up a slight incline so may not be suitable for guests with mobility issues. Surrounded by scenic walking routes, this recently refurbished Inn is just a few yards from the shores of Lake Windermere. Free parking is available on-site, subject to availability or alternatively, there are chargeable car parks nearby. Ambleside town centre is only a short stroll away for you to explore during your stay or other attractions such as Zip World Windermere are only a short drive away.

Please note that The Lake House Rooms at The Waterhead Inn is an old Victorian building with no lift. If guests smoke in the rooms, they may be charged one night's accommodation as a penalty.
Upon arrival, guests need to check in at The Waterhead Inn before making their way to their room within the Lake House building, which is a short distance away.
Guests arriving after 20:00 are requested to inform the property prior to arrival. Contact details can be found on the booking confirmation. It may not be possible to accommodate guests in the same room for each consecutive night of their stay.
Pet-friendly rooms are limited, so please check availability prior to booking. A GBP 15 fee per pet per night applies, and guests are required to inform the property in advance.
