Our selection of charming self-catering cabins are positioned on large, secluded plots, in a stunning location and provide guests with the experience of a true log cabin holiday. We have a varied selection of log cabins, sleeping up to 6 people. Cabins have many character features including, vaulted ceilings, raised verandas, hot tubs (extra charge of £99 / stay if required) at selected cabins and wood burning stoves in most cabins. IMPORTANT NOTE: PLEASE REFER TO INDIVIDUAL CABIN DESCRIPTIONS BELOW FOR DETAILS OF CABIN LOCATION, WHICH CABINS HAVE HOT TUBS (SOME ARE WOOD FIRED AND SOME ARE ELECTRIC), LOG BURNING STOVES AND WI-FI AND ANY ASSOCIATED EXTRA CHARGES. The perfect location, whether you require a base from which to explore Argyll and the West Coast, simply enjoy the local area or just relax and be at one with nature. This unique location was created by the Forestry Commission as a place of tranquility, amid outstanding scenery. In addition to the peace and quiet of the log cabin locations the surrounding area provides an amazing natural playground. There are forests, burns, rivers, castles, mountains and lochs to explore and enjoy. The area has a proliferation of walks, cycle routes and local attractions and is a world renowned destination for anglers. wildlife-watching available at Dalavich is as good as it gets in the UK. Pine Marten and Red Squirrel are common and Osprey nest nearby. You can also see Golden Eagle and Sea Eagle, Red, Roe and Sikka Deer and an unparalleled amount of bird life. Many visitors are captivated by the area, as we were, and return time and again to the shores of Loch Awe.
