It is about 10 miles from Matlock Bath and Ashbourne, and on the doorstep of the Peak District Park. Carefully transformed into a spacious split-level residence, it can accommodate a large party seeking a well-equipped, comfortable holiday base. There’s a huge 40ft galleried and beamed living room. Pubs, bistros, and heritage trails at the door, with riverside walks 400 yards. Alton Towers, Chatsworth, Haddon Hall all under 30 minutes, with climbing, caving, and gliding under 20 miles and water sports at Carsington Water 6 miles. Shops, pubs, restaurants 200 yards.
