Jacob, Jess and our daughter Poppy are Peak Homestays, we currently own and run two holiday lets in Matlock, Derbyshire. With living in the town ourselves we are proud to have holiday lets here to allow holidaymakers to explore the Derbyshire Dales and Peak District all of which are on our doorstep.

Welcome to Poppy's Cottage, nestled in the picturesque town of Matlock, where the charm of the countryside meets the comfort of a cosy retreat. This delightful property is a haven for up to six guests, offering a perfect blend of modern convenience and rustic charm. *Please note- This property is located up a hill and is not a step free access so is not suitable for elderly guests or those with mobility concerns. *Also note the accommodation is suitable for a maximum of 5 Adults and 1 Child, due to the weight restrictions to the top of the bunk bed, we can’t accept bookings of 6 adults for this reason. As you step inside the cottage, you're greeted by a warm and inviting open living room, complete with plush sofas and a crackling open fire. Please remember to place the guard in front of the fire when it's lit for safety. Adjacent to the living room lies the open plan kitchen and dining area. The well-equipped kitchen features an under counter oven, gas hob, washing machine, toaster, and kettle, ensuring all your culinary needs are met. A handy under stairs cupboard houses the fridge-freezer, providing ample storage space for your groceries. For restful nights, Poppy's Cottage offers comfortable sleeping arrangements across its three bedrooms. The master bedroom boasts a luxurious king-size bed, while two additional bedrooms provide two single beds and a bunk bed respectively. Built-in wardrobes in the master and second bedrooms, along with drawer storage, ensure ample space for your belongings. The attic room also offers drawer storage for added convenience. Freshen up in the modern shower room conveniently located on the first floor, providing a refreshing start to your day. Outside, a front lawn space awaits, offering a serene spot to soak in the stunning vistas stretching across to Riber Castle and the Derwent valley. The rear entrance serves as a fire exit only and the rear garden is not accessible to guests.
