Tucked away in a picturesque setting alongside the tranquil River Rothay, Rowan Studio Cottage is just a stone’s throw from the charming village of Grasmere.
This split-level gem is flooded with natural light and surrounded by breathtaking views that capture the essence of the Lake District. One of four properties set at the end of a private track, the cottage provides a cosy retreat with a mix of traditional charm and practical amenities.
Step inside, and you’re greeted by a by a compact yet well-equipped kitchen, a space that invites culinary creativity. Its essential appliances and thoughtful layout make it easy to prepare anything from a quick breakfast to a hearty dinner.
From the kitchen, a few steps lead down into the living and dining area, the heart of the cottage. Here, old oak beams stretch across the room, adding to the rustic charm, while a split-level gallery and skylight allow natural light to pour in. Large windows frame the spectacular view of Stone Arthur and the Fairfield Range.
The main bathroom is thoughtfully designed, ensuring all the comforts of home are at hand. The master bedroom is a cosy retreat complete with its own en-suite. Adjacent to this is the twin bedroom, perfect for children or friends.
Outside, step through to the garden, where a furnished patio awaits. The gentle sounds of the River Rothay and the views of the surrounding fells create a setting that feels like a private slice of paradise.
