Hello and welcome to my property ‘The Lodge at The Hambrook Retreats’ comprising an 18th century former gatekeepers lodge , a cosy cottage suitable for 4-6 guests in 2 bedrooms (sofa bed in living room) large gardens, outdoor dining and a hot tub! Situated on site We also have a 2 log cabins with 1 bedroom modern contemporary sleeping 2 in each. We are a family run business and live local. We are happy to greet you and say hi. We will be on site most days changing over properties and checking the hot tubs. We hope you enjoy your stay with us. Best wishes, Carley and John
We love to be in the feel good industry and provide a memorable enjoyable stay in our former home! Going above and beyond to make our guests feel welcome and a home from home is our ethos, we love to add a touch of luxury and special extras to make your stay memorable.
The River Frome is situated at the back our fields providing a brilliant walkway to the nearby villages and famous Snuff Mills, there is a beautiful local country pub called The White Horse which is renowned for its glorious garden and cozy feel. Just a 5 minute walk on the road or through the back field, We have a bus stop directly outside for direct routes to Bristol City centre, and a train station 1 mile away. We are just situated off the M4/M32 conveniently for worker stays at the MOD also. As an older property in a rural area we hope you enjoy the views and visits from local deer, rabbits and foxes - and sometimes the presence of a little field mouse coming to say hi! Please do keep food off the sides when doors are open of course being surrounded by fields!
