The Shard Riverside is set in an idyllic location on the banks of the River Wyre just a short distance from some great attractions. The Bowland fells and Forrest of Bowland for those who love to be in the great outdoors, you can also find biking trails plus lots of wildlife to discover. The views from the 'Trough of Bowland' are simply stunning so don't forget your camera! On a clear day, you can see for miles across several counties and even the distant Lake District.
For those thrill seekers among you then head to Blackpool and take a trip to The Pleasure beach or visit the world-famous Blackpool Tower and stroll along the promenade and visit the many arcades that Blackpool has to offer, don’t forget to pick up your rock.
Just a two-minute car journey away is Poulton-Le-Fylde or Garstang just 15minutes away offer a quieter alternative with a more traditional take to life on the Fylde coast. Garstang has its own canal and tow-path to explore and is only a short distance from Bowland Fells.
For those who love to shop but don’t like the hustle and bustle why not head to Cleveleys or Fleetwood for a wander around and enjoy a promenade walk with miles of sandy beaches.
