An independently owned, delightful and cosy countryside retreat, restored and loved by its owners. Ideal for singles, couples and small families. Come back from a days adventure in the glorious countryside to biscuits and tea or a freshly ground artisan coffee. Snuggle up in front of the log burner or read a book curled on the bed with the gentle sound of water from one of the three rivers that meet in the village. Cook an evening meal on the baby Aga or stroll for a minute into the village and eat at one of the pubs, restaurants or bistro. Be inspired as you explore the ancient mountainous valleys, lakes and rivers of Snowdonia, to the tranquility and coastal Idyll of the Isle of Anglesey. North Wales offers you a breathtaking experience whether that be to pump up the heart rate or to seek out peace, healing and solace. For outdoor enthusiasts, creatives …..and lovers of spectacular scenery. Key features: (In a nutshell) Living room with log burner. Handmade 'British Standard' kitchen. Baby Aga cooker with roasting and baking ovens. Bathroom with bath with shower over. Terraced mountain garden with crafted dry stone walling, exterior table and seating. Two cosy bedrooms. Hello, my name is Emma and I came to live in the mountains a few years ago after staying in Beddgelert as a visitor. I remember waking up after a long trip through the night, throwing back the curtains and WOW! It was love at first sight. Fast forward a few years and a 250 mile relocation, I have used my career as an interior designer to sympathetically renovate the cottage using traditional and sustainable materials. It's a historical cottage and as Kevin McCloud once famously said; we don't own buildings like these...we are its custodians. I fell in love with the area and so my dream was to make Snowdonia Stone Cottage a creative bolthole. A special place for many to enjoy, relax and breathe within its four walls. Not just a holiday cottage rather a second home.
Beddgelert is a picturesque stone built village set amongst an ancient landscape of rivers, forests, lakes and at the foothills of Snowdon. With fables of wizards, dragons, warriors and kings, be inspired as you explore majestic Snowdonia and the tranquillity and coastal Idyll of Anglesey. North Wales offers you a breath-taking experience whether that be to pump up the heart rate or to seek out peace, healing and solace.
