Sweeney Farm Glamping is luxurious holiday and fitness/wellbeing retreat.
3 luxury safari style tent lodges that can be booked individually or together for exclusive use of the site for up to 20 people. One of the lodges is dog friendly and the other 2 lodges have hot tubs.
Come and stay in one of our lodges for a truly unique experience. Each lodge is fully equipped with bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen and living/dining area complete with log burning stove.
2 of the lodges sleep up to 6 people with 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and a kitchen - one of these has a hot tub. Our other lodge is the biggest and sleeps up to 8 people in 4 twin bedrooms and has 2 bathrooms and a hot tub.
On-site sauna, outdoor kitchen with pizza oven and dining area, cold water bath/shower make Sweeney Farm Glamping the perfect venue for your getaway.
Helen built the lodges in 2018 on her family-run, working dairy farm in the beautiful Shropshire countryside. All guests are met on arrival by her (or one of the family) and given a quick tour of the accommodation. She is onsite and available if guests require anything or have questions.
Sweeney Farm Glamping is located on the Shropshire/North Wales border and is centrally located in the UK.
The nearest town is Oswestry, a historic market town, which has lots of independent shops, high street shops, supermarkets and coffee shops.
Chester, Shrewsbury, Llangollen and the lakeside town of Ellesmere are within a 30 minute drive.
National Trust venues : Chirk Castle, Powis Castle, Erdigg Hall and Attingham Park are easily accessible.
Other local attractions include the world heritage Pontcysyllte aquaduct, Offa's Dyke Path, Pistyll Rheadr waterfalls, Lake Vrynwy, Llanymynech heritage centre and the Shropshire Union Canal.
Family days out in the area include Park Hall Countryside Experience, The British Ironworks, BeWilderwood, and Chester Zoo.
Sweeney Farm is located at the gateway to Wales and within easy reach of the Snowdonia National Park.
Food and Drink :- there are several local pubs and a brewery within a short drive away that offer a good selection of drinks and pub grub.
The most popular activity in the area is walking with local footpaths from the door and fabulous mountains and trials close by.
Other activities locally include : canoeing, horse-riding, gin-making, brewery tours, golf, fishing, white water rafting, quad bike riding, go-Karting, paint balling and many more.
