Built to compliment the original schoolhouse on site, this cottage has all you need to enjoy a quiet and peaceful stay in the rolling countryside. Set in the village of Burnturk, you will have the ideal setting to enjoy country walks or just to curl up by the fireside on a rainy day. The house is built on the school yard from 1901, and the adjacent property is the original school house. Your cottage has wood throughout, made in 1751, from the local Craufaurd Priory and is a unique cottage. The cottage shares its location with the schoolhouse driveway, but has its own fully enclosed garden complete with BBQ for guests private use. There is free onsite parking, tv with Netflix, and countryside walks on your doorstep.
I love animals and traveling. I live between Canada and the U.K. and love my horses and dogs. My parents and I run an Airbnb in Fife, Scotland and we love meeting new people. I’m always available by phone or email. If you require immediate assistance, my parents live in the village and are able to assist with any on site problems or to show you around. We aim for a five star review, so if anything is not up to your standards on arrival please let us know so that we can make it right. Upon check in, we love to meet our guests and show you around, check in time is flexible, just message us and we can accommodate you!
We are located on the edge of a small village. The fife cycle route and good countryside walks are on your doorstep- also a great base to explore the local food scene. Many great restaurants are a short drive away.
