Situated in England's smallest cathedral city, The Swan provides excellent accommodation and hotel facilities. The Swan makes an ideal base for exploring Somerset. Visit Bath, Bristol, Wookey Hole Caves, Glastonbury Abbey and historic houses. The hotel boasts 48 individually designed non-smoking bedrooms, a courtyard garden, conference facilities for up to 90 delegates and provides the perfect getaway. The privately-owned 15th century coaching inn faces the west front of Wells Cathedral, with original four poster beds and log fires. A combination of traditional and contemporary cuisine is served in the unique oak panelled restaurant. Leisure breaks, romantic weekends away, weddings and special interest packages are all available.

The hotel is fortunate enough to have the largest city centre car park in Wells. However, the spaces are limited and are on a first come, first served basis.
Please note that our restaurant can get busy and booking is advisable.
Due to the age and construction of the property there is no lift access to higher floors- if this is an issue please contact the hotel who will be happy to assist you in allocating the right room for your needs.
