Blaengwynfi, a charming village affectionately known as "The Cape" by its locals, draws inspiration from the famous Cape of Good Hope. This nickname emerged during the mining boom that brought great wealth to the area. Nestled in the picturesque Afan Valley, Blaengwynfi is a tranquil haven, perfect for serene pursuits like cycling and leisurely strolls. We’re also approximately 300 meters from what will soon be the longest cycling tunnel in Europe, connecting the Afan Valley to the Rhondda Valley. Additionally, the outdoor adventure company ‘Wild Fox’ is investing in the area, bringing a whole new range of activities and adventures.
