Christine loves the Brecon Beacons National Park. She's a Brecon Beacons National park Ambassadors who loves to share her wealth of local knowledge with guests, giving them ideas about what to do or where to go within the park and the best way to access it. You will receive a very warm welcome when you arrive with lots of tips and information on what to do and where to eat etc. Christine is a trained chef so you can also expect to be served an excellent breakfast.

An historic house in Brecon, Ty Helyg has been many things since it was built @1780. In the 20th century it has been a cafe, milliners, boarding house and hotel. The rooms are modern, bright, comfortable and clean. There is a welcoming guest lounge alongside the honesty bar and the hosts are available most of the time should you need any assistance during your stay. There are fridges stocked with fresh milk and space to pop something in overnight if required.

Brecon Town has a long and eventful history. It is now a small market town nestled amongst the most fantastic scenery which surround it. Popular for many years due to it's range of activities, whether scaling the heights of the mountains or taking a leisurely drive or cycle through the quiet lanes and seeing wildlife and historic sights on the way.
