We welcome you to Tynedale Guest House, which is ideally situated a couple of minutes walk from Penrith town centre, with its numerous individual shops, restaurants, bars=which are award winning. Tynedale Guest House has been trading for over 30 years in the town of Penrith as a guest house. We offer a warm, clean, and comfortable stay to all of our guests in their Victorian townhouse home, which is only a few minutes drive from Junction 40 M6, and also the East, West route A66. All rooms are equipped with modern TV's, your very own tea making facilities, ensuite and private bathrooms as well as comfortable beds to rest after a long journey or to prepare you for a day of adventures. Whether you are working, or on holiday, or just having the odd night away, our delicious locally sourced full Cumbrian breakfast, will set you up proudly for the day ahead and we offer a vegan and vegetarian version as well. Being in the centre of Penrith, the best facilities are only a few feet away, including Penrith Leisure centre which has a variety of swimming facilities and the town has much to offer whether you're on the hunt for antiques or looking for an energetic boating/kayaking trip in the lakes. Close to our beautiful Lake District, Lake Ullswater is 5 miles away. , Eden Valley, Pennines and Yorkshire Dales, also Scottish Borders, Tynedale Guesthouse is here to make ensure that you have a wonderful stay.

Tynedale Guest House is a homely Victorian Bed and Breakfast in the centre of Penrith. Penrith is seen as the gateway to the northern lakes and is only 400 metres from the Coast to Coast cycle route. We offer private parking to cars and secure cycle parking. We are close to many of the wonderful restaurants and eateries that Penrith has to offer and allows you to explore the Lake District - walking, climbing, cycling, pony trekking to name a few amenities on offer in this beautiful area.
