Totally renovated to a very high standard, our four bedroom Victorian home is on a quiet residential tree lined avenue but only a 5min walk to the main high street and the beach. We have 2 guest rooms available. The Rooms share a luxury bathroom with overhead shower & semi-sunken oversized bath. The Green Room is our main room with a kingsize bed & a large bay window to the front of the house. Our other guest room is The Pink Room which has a double bed, a window to the side aspect & is right next door to the bathroom. Both rooms have TV & coffee making facilities. We only take one guest booking at a time so you will never share the bathroom with strangers (if you only book one room the other stays empty). ##IF YOU BOOK BOTH ROOMS THE 2nd ROOM IS HALF PRICE ## (to claim this discount message us with 'second room half price please' when you make your reservation). Your stay includes a light breakfast of cereal, toast & juices at no extra cost which is laid out in our dining room between 8am and 10am but earlier if required. If you are visiting on business we have strong fibre WiFi & you are very welcome to set up office in our dining room which is very private & has plenty of table space & plug sockets. We allow guests to share our dining room throughout their stay which is equipped with a microwave, toaster, fridge, kettle & coffee machine. We also leave out crockery & cutlery so you are very welcome to bring food home to eat throughout the daytime & evening. The Dining Room has French windows onto our mature south facing courtyard garden which has garden furniture for outside dining & a raised pond with large Victorian water feature. You are also welcome to take full advantage of the garden at any time during your stay. Our main kitchen & sitting room are our private spaces & so not available for guests. We have an electronic keyless entry system at the property so guests are free to come and go as they wish 24hours a day.
We have been married for nearly 10 years and are both working professionals. Mark works from a home office most of the time so is nearly always on hand if you need anything. Shaun catches the train into Liverpool for work. Whenever possible, we like to be here to welcome you when you arrive to settle you in & make sure you have everything you need for your stay. Rufus & Macy the scotty dogs will add their own welcome when you arrive (its their job to bark when the door bell rings!) but they soon settle down. The dogs always like to meet the guests at some stage during the stay if possible as they are very sociable. Whilst we always try and keep Rufus & Macy contained in our private spaces during guest stays, we ask guests to understand that this is our dogs' home as well as ours so this cannot necessarily be guaranteed.
We are 200metres from the West Kirby promenade, only 1.5 miles away from Royal Liverpool Golf Club & a 10min walk to the rail station (30min direct train to Liverpool City Centre). We have several beautiful beaches within walking distance of the house as well as lovely parks and woodland nearby. West Kirby is rich with restaurants, bars & cafes all within an easy walk of the house. Heswall, Parkgate and Hoylake are also nearby with even more venues. We have a guidebook which we share with guests on arrival pointing you in the direction of our favourite haunts.
