Kastri, a charming settlement located approximately 70 km southeast of the city of Heraklion in the bay of Keratokampos (Viannos), offers a delightful blend of natural beauty and authentic Greek hospitality. With its pristine beaches, many visitors find themselves returning to this inviting locale time and time again. Accessible via the road linking Viannos to Heraklion. The village hosts the sole harbor in the vicinity, catering to the needs of local fishing endeavors. Right next to the harbor (to the west), you'll find the small beach of Kastri, a beautiful sandy beach with plenty of tamarisk trees. Just beyond the harbor, you'll discover Skouros Beach, and even further west, the now famous beach of Lysti. Within a close walking distance from the villa, you will find a mini market, as well as a bakery, several cafes, a beach bar, tavernas, and a pizzeria. Exploring the area, one may find solace in visiting the church of Agios Dimitrios Galatoktistos, once a bustling monastery.
