Ideal for one or even 2 small families or a large group of friends, either for unforgettable holidays on Vathi site and at the other beautiful nearby beaches (Skoutari...) or as a base for excursions throughout the legendary Mani.

I am married to a French woman (Agathe) and have two children. I come from both my parents from Mani although I grew up in Athens and have lived in France for 2 decades. The guest house we are proposing is also our home (second home at the moment). We decided last year to rent this personal space on a short-term basis not only for financial reasons (as a small extra income mainly for expenses and maintenance) but also because we have a family developed sense of hospitality and loving Mani we want to give the opportunity to others to get to know it, explore it and taste its beauties based on our traditional house!

Just below the property there is the exquisite restaurant "Hannover" with an idyllic garden and gourmet cuisine and a little further the traditional central bakery of the village with local specialties. On a 5-minute walk there is another famous tavern "της κυρίας Μαρίας" ("Mrs. Maria’s place" with a pleasant environment and very good Greek food. There is also a mini market a 3-minute walk away and a fruits vegetable store across the street with locally grown products. Access to Vathi beach can also be done on foot or by bike, more comfortable of course by car (3 min) since there are free parking spaces. In 15-20 minutes by car, you will discover other beautiful sandy beaches such as Mavrovouni, Kamares and Skoutari. The picturesque town of Gythio capital of the municipality of eastern Mani and the traditional town of Areopolis (cultural/historical capital) are only 10-15 minutes away drive. The tour of the Laconian Mani peninsula (up to Cape Tainaro, the southernmost part of Greek/European mainland Greece) can be completed in a few hours.
