Vranas Ambiance Hotel enjoy a central location in the "Venice of the east", the old town of Chania, only 50 metres away from the Venice port. Free WiFi is available in public areas. The spacious guestrooms feature en suite bathrooms and are equipped with a TV, air conditioning and central heating. Some units also have a balcony. Several restaurants, bars and shops can be found within a short walk. Nea Chora Beach is 1 km away and Souda Port is approximately 8 km away. Nikos Vranas is the youngest son of the Vranas family and today is the manager of Vranas Hotel. You will find him at reception each morning. Born and raised in Chania, he usually divides his time between the hotel and his other passion, the basketball court, and is a member of the local basketball team. But his priorities are now about to change, as he is looking forward to the birth of his first child in November! It is already clear that he will make a lovely father.

From the grandparents, to their daughters and sons, and now down to the grandchildren, we are all here to greet you, and you will no doubt meet us some time at reception and in the common lounge. Vranas Hotel is our home. We look forward to hosting travellers from around the world, who are looking for an authentic, intimate experience of hospitality in the heart of Chania Old Town. We hope to meet travellers who are looking for quality at reasonable prices and who want to their travel budget to contribute to the local community. We offer a simple blend of contemporary comfort and traditional style; our modern facilities are combined with furnishings that reflect the unique architecture of Chania. Vranas Hotel is located in the center of Chania Old Town. It is just behind the Cathedral of Eisodion and 100 meters from the Venetian Harbor along a relaxed and picturesque old pedestrian street. You will also find two locally owned restaurants and some shops in the same street. Other famous local restaurants and bars are close by, and you are only two minutes walk from the old Municipal Market of Chania (currently under restoration). It is a 500 meter walk from the Central Bus Station and about 14 mins by foot to the beach at Nea Chora! Close to the new town, but tucked away in the old, you will have the opportunity to explore the best of Chania on foot and become immersed in the many layers of history, while enjoying all the contemporary delights.
