It is separated from Zadar and Biograd by a long Pašman channel in which are numerous small islands. The Pašman Channel is the cleanest canal in the Adriatic and is a favourite nautical destination. Thanks to its Mediterranean vegetation, the island of Pašman is the greenest Croatian island with a rich fauna and flora.
