Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Relax in your private hot tub with a glass of bubbly over looking Ardmore Bay. Chill out on our lounge chairs and enjoy timeout with friends and family. We provided towels, bath robes and slippers. Under 16's are not allowed to use the hot tub. The chalet is a self contained guest house with 2 double bedrooms, located next to our home. It is 5km from Ardmore village so a car is necessary. The 2 double bedrooms are cosy but functional. There is a bathroom with an electric shower. The open plan living room and kitchen are light and spacious, it has a wood burning stove and double doors which open out onto your own deck overlooking a private garden and magnificent views of Ardmore village, bay and surrounding beaches. We have a Smart TV, although it has no aerial you can access youtube and netflix (if you have an account)

Local places of interest. Ardmore is a seaside village, walk the Cliff Walk (5 mins), home to great beaches and food. Dungarvan town (10/15 min) is good for shopping, eating, golf and going out at night. Youghal (10/15 min) has a spectacular beach boardwalk. Waterford Greenway is an old railway line from Waterford City to Dungarvan suitable for off-road cycling and walking. Enjoy it’s breathtaking scenery. The Nire Valley is an ideal base for hill walkers who wish to explore the spectacular Comeragh Mountains. Lismore is a beautiful heritage town with spectacular Castle and gardens. Old Parish - An Sean Phobal and Ring - An Rinn are Gaeltacht na nDéise and embraces the Irish language and its culture. Tramore (1hr) hosts leisure activities such as Splashworld and an Amusement Park to amuse all ages. Midleton (30 mins) is home to the Jameson distillery The town of Cobh is known as the Titanic’s last port of call in 1912. in the town of Blarney is the blarney stone, kiss it and you'll never again be lost for words. Wexford (1.5hr) is home to the emigrant trail and The Kennedy Homestead.
