In the County Mayo village of Cong, Michaeleen's Manor B&B is located between Lough Mask and Lough Corrib. A traditional Irish breakfast is offered, along with free parking and WiFi and a variety of on-site facilities. This B&B is themed on The Quiet Man film. Each room has a flat-screen TV/DVD, wardrobe, desk and tea and coffee facilities. There is also an en suite shower room with a hairdryer and toiletries. Guests can make use of a shared lounge, a tennis court and a children’s playground. Full Irish breakfast is served, as well as a range of other cooked options including omelettes and scrambled eggs. You can also enjoy homemade bread, cereals, yoghurt and fruit juice. Michaeleen's Manor B&B is a short walk from Cong’s Quiet Man Cottage Museum, which is a tribute to the John Wayne film which was filmed in the village. Around 45 minutes’ drive from the pretty town of Westport, Cong’s attractions include Ashford Castle and Cong Abbey. Local information and maps are available, as well as discount vouchers for local cafés and restaurants.
