PK Lodge B&B Skibbereen is a beautiful Fáilte Ireland Merit Award winning 4 star Irish B&B offering quality bed and breakfast accommodation in the beautiful unspoiled region of West Cork, Ireland. PK Lodge Bed and Breakfast accommodation is located on the outskirts of Skibbereen, just 200 metres off the N 71 road in a peaceful private setting with lots of free secure parking. Here you will enjoy warm Irish hospitality together with comfortable high quality accommodation in a pleasant relaxing atmosphere. All our spacious bedrooms are en-suite with free Internet access,TV and hairdryers. Each bedroom has it’s own matching colour scheme creating a warm relaxed atmosphere.
Pat and I have been welcoming guests to our B&B for more than 20 years. We have worked all our lives in the hospitality business and we love meeting and looking after our guests. I enjoy home baking and my brown bread is a real treat with our freshly cooked breakfast. We are both from the locality and we will be delighted to share our local knowledge and assist you in any way we can. We look forward to meeting you.
Skibbereen is a very central location for exploring the fantastic unspoiled scenery of the Southwest Atlantic coastline of Ireland. West Cork is located in the South West corner of Ireland. It stretches from Kinsale to the Beara peninsula and boasts some of Ireland’s most spectacular scenery. Due to its coastal location West Cork is a haven for all types of water–based activities. Skibbereen is less than a fifteen minute drive to Baltimore where you have sailing, diving, sea-angling and windsurfing, there are ferry services to the nearby Islands of Cape Clear and Sherkin .The spectacular setting of Glandore with its famous Drombeg Stone Circle and the fishing village of Union Hall which has kayaking, sea-angling and whale and dolphin excursions are only a ten minute drive. Rosscarbery and Clonakilty are further on and here you can trace the footsteps of General Michael Collins and visit the beautiful sandy beeches of Inchydoney. There are many safe and sandy beeches in West Cork. There is Salmon and trout fishing in the Ilen River, which flows through the town of Skibbereen.
