The recently decorated log cabin is situated in our large secure garden in the countryside. Guest must realise everything is a drive. There is a lovely shower room and basic kitchenette facilities. We provide your bed linen and towels. Tea and coffee is also provided. Fold-out futon also available if children are staying. There is free Wifi and you can stream your shows from your phone to the flat screen TV via Chromcast. The cabin has a little deck so you can sit out and watch the sun sink in the west over the trees. There is a super friendly dog on site who is part of the family.
A Galway girl and an English man, along with their two children and bouncy dog welcome you to our selfcatering garden cabin. We love meeting new people, and hope you enjoy your stay with us.
The cabin is located next to Donadea Forest Park, great for woodland walks. There are further woodland, lakeland and canal walks nearby. We are surrounded by top class golf courses including the K-Club in Straffan (past host of the Ryder Cup). The cabin is a stones throw from Mondello park. Nearby Abbeyfield farm will provide all your equine and outdoor pursuits, there is SUP paddling at Digby bridge and barge trips along the Grand Canal in Sallins. You can get lost in Kildare Maze or pet animals at Clonfert Pet Farm. Vist Roches famous sinking pub and the Grill Shack for an amazing dinner. Dublin city is 40 minutes away with a great frequent bus connection from Clane (just ask us where best to park) For those interested in heritage, culture and history, the cabin is in Irelands Ancient East, where you will find Newgrange, the Boyne Valley, Glendalough, St Bridgets wells, Castles and stately homes. The cabin is located in the countryside but there are a choice of supermarkets and shops are located just 6 Km away in Clane. There are many lovely restaurants in Naas and Maynooth. Ask us when you arrive for our favourite haunts and things to do.
