Located in the village of Bangor Erris, with views of the Bangor Trail, which brings you from Bangor to Newport through the uninhabited mountain range of Neiphin Beg. Close to the renowned Carne Golf Links, Blacksod Lighthouse, Solas Visitor Center, Erris Head, Dún na mBó, Carrowteige Loop Walk and the Cross Loop. Ideally located for exploring and sightseeing along the Wild Atlantic Way. Situated on the banks of the River Owenmore, superb world renowned wild salmon and sea-trout and brown fishing, Bangor has all this to offer. Many Blue Flag Beaches, Hiking, Water Sports, Ballycroy National Park & The Ceide Fields close by. The Doctor's House is newly refurbished with all the mod cons whilst keeping many of its original features and charm. It was Originally built in 1940 and is located in the village ‘The Gateway to Erris’ Walking distance to Shops, Bars, Restaurants & Playground which leads on to a beautiful river walk.
