This brand new child friendly upstairs apartment has 2 Dble beds, plus a single campbed that can sleep an adult comfortably or a child & also a Travel cot if needed . Perfect place to explore the sights of Foxford & beautiful County Mayo- there's so much to see and do here. Stunning Beaches & Coastline, World famous Salmon fishing, Trout Lakes, Mountains for Hiking. Pubs & Restaurants. Health spas for pampering. 1½hrs from Galway, 1 hr to Sligo.
Spacious 1st floor apartment has beautiful rural views front & back is only 1.5 Kms, or a 12 min walk into Foxford township. Situated 200mtrs off the main Fxfd-Dublin Road down a quiet road.
The steep external staircase insures a private entry. There is private parking for 2 cars right beside the entry up to The Loft.
Outdoor seating in the garden, a BBQ is available on request, children may play safely on the fenced front lawn.
Self-catering, so you'll find The Loft has everything you need for a perfect private stay.
Any special requirements will be considered if pre-arranged.
Kitchen is fully equipped for Self-catering. Cooker, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, all kitchen implements. Tea, coffee, cooking oil, condiments supplied. Children's toys & books for all ages are provided.
*Children are very welcome. Fishing groups also welcome, a large freezer for caught fish is available on request
Bed Linen & Towels included, also Hairdryer & an Iron, a Babybath & Highchair
Hosts John & Suzette are well travelled, having seen much of the world both together & independently.
They instinctively know what people need to feel comfortable on holidays and how to welcome & support people for a great holiday experience. Families are very welcome. Fishing groups also welcomed. Any special requests will be considered.
They live on site, in a separate dwelling but will give you total privacy and autonomy to enjoy yr holiday independently. Always happy to chat or assist you in any way.
Foxford & nearby Ballina are the heart of Irelands Salmon Fishing region. The beautiful and world famous River Moy runs right through Foxford town and is one of Europe's top Salmon fishing destinations
There is a wealth of fishing knowledge and facilities in town and a large selection of A1 fishing locations to choose from.
Also known for its Golf courses including Enniscrone stunning coastal Golf links, 30mins drive away.
Knock Airport is 25mins drive.
Westport and the world famous Pilgrimage Mtn of Croagh Patrick in Clew Bay are 45mins drive. Achill Isld known for its World class beaches, with its land bridge connecting to the mainland, is just over an hours scenic driving. A popular day trip.
The Foxford Woollen Mills&Restaurant and the River Moy are a short 15min walk from The Loft.
Sligo & Galway are less than 1. 5 hrs drive, also easy day trips.
