Since inception and opening in 2013, Dew Drop In has welcomed patrons from all corners of the country and some from abroad. Countless number of guests have left with more than just an experience. They have left with memories to be cherished for a lifetime. We have hosted corporate guests, families, groups of friends, honeymooners and free individual travelers who need a weekend getaway in the beautiful hills of Shillong. Perched at 1,965 metres above sea level, Shillong Peak, which is the highest peak in the city and also everyone's favorite photography spot, is just a half hour trek from Dew Drop In. This is a real bonus for all nature lovers who long for fresh crisp air, dotted with picturesque pine walks on either side. Another attraction is the Buddhist Monastery, located about half a kilometre from the Guest House - a must visit for those seeking spiritual decadence. The main City Centre and market places are also just about five kilometres away. With four well-appointed rooms and private balconies for the three 1 st Floor rooms - guests of the Ground Floor room can avail of the main balcony on the 1 st Floor - one can enjoy a panoramic view and private experiences with friends and family. One can enjoy a hot beverage whilst indulging in the scenic beauty of the hills and if one is lucky, can even lay sight on the majestic Himalayas on a winter morning if the weather co- operates. All rooms have attached bathrooms and are well equipped with amenities like flat-screen TVs, personal tea/coffee making facilities, room heaters (on request at minimal cost), bath amenities, filtered water, complimentary WiFi and access to the living room-cum- lounge, which can be used as a gathering room or just a meeting space. Complimentary parking is available. The Guest House is well secured within a perimeter and equipped with CCTV surveillance. There is also provision for Airport/Station transfers and transport for sightseeing and traveling to other locations (on request and at a cost). Shillong is more than just any other Hill Station. It lives in the hearts and minds of all its visitors and is a centre of warmth and hospitality. Not only does the city vibrate with energy and vitality, but is also a haven for food lovers, music lovers and those traveling with the simple purpose of seeking peace and quiet. Dew Drop In is a living energy of all this and our guests are a testimony to it.
