The Gold room is an uber luxury designer room where you can live llike a royalty. With a private splash pool where you can eat your meals dipping your feet in water and a private balcony with our lawn n the tea garden for view, you can sit here for hours chatting or working on your laptop. A personal butler is always at your service. Complimentary Breakfast and evening snacks n even complimentary beers and munchies in the refrigerator. Oh yes, the extra large bathroom has a custom made clawfeet bathtub made of pure brass and the shower cubicle is a replica of London phone kiosks. Everything is Gold here meant to make you feel like a king.
A lifestyle journalist and a travel writer with Hindustan Times, India Today, Indian Express, etc in New Delhi, Nishiraj A Baruah is also a drummer and a machirologist (knife collector) by passion. Chilled-out and friendly, he divides his time between New Delhi, Goa and Dibrugarh. He has travelled extensively across Europe, Asia and Africa, loves parties, world and electronic music and read thrillers. A happy-go-lucky guy you will get along with him easily. Like with most Assamese, hospitality comes naturally to him. Currently busy writing a book of short stories based on his interactions with his guests at the Homestay, Nishiraj is around these days to regal you with his colourful stories from his experiences as a journalist and a world traveller.
