Featuring a fitness centre and a 24-hour front desk, The Carlton is situated by the Kodaikanal Lake and a 10-minute walk to the famous Bryant Park and Coakers Walk. It provides free parking on site. The Carlton is the only hotel to provide a Shikara ride, at a surcharge. Cooled with a fan, comfortable rooms are furnished with a work desk, a wardrobe, a flat-screen satellite TV and seating area. Shower facility and free toiletries are provided in the en suite bathroom. The Carlton offers luggage storage, currency exchange and laundry services upon request. Guests may enjoy a game of table tennis on site, or indulge in a pampering massage at its spa. Meeting and banqueting facilities are available. The in-house Silver Oak restaurant serves Indian, Continental and Italian cuisine, while The Terrace offers mouthwatering barbecue and Tandoor dishes. Cocktails and a selection of liquors can be purchased at the bar. The Carlton is just 1 km from Kodaikanal Bus Station. Kodai Road Railway Station is 80 km away and Madurai Airport is approximately within a 130 km radius.
